I love this picture because of the matching cleft chins while watching Saturday morning ESPN updates. Aren't they so pronounced in this picture?
So have I mentioned that Luke is a TANK? He weighs close to 30 pounds. My 4 year old nephew weighs only slightly more. If I'm carrying him and have to pick up something off the floor, it's a HUGE bummer. My favorite comment from a passerby at Target this week was "Well he definitely hasn't skipped a meal". He's a good little eater this one.
Last week he got his first haircut ever!! I was sad to see the curls go, but I'm hoping they grow back. I was prepared for tears and he couldn't have cared less.
He's also going through nap changes (all you mom's with annoyingly robotic sleepers won't understand) but for the past month I've been trying to figure out how to make this kid sleep during the day! I've finally come to accept that he only takes one nap now, and it's usually about 1 1/2 hours. Today was a heaven sent 2.5 hour nap which we WOKE HIM UP FROM because we had to be somewhere. oh glorious sleep...I hope he remembers how amazing it felt tomorrow so that he does it again!
(immediately post nap)
(Immediately post eyes open)
XOXO

ReplyDeleteOh Nicki, you make me laugh! Laughed all the way through this. We should put Luke and Ellie together and laugh at them - the tank and the mini. Ellie just now weighs over 10 lbs (SHE IS 3 MONTHS OLD!!). Luke is so cute and I love his post nap pictures!
