We're Officially Gonna Become Islanders

So between the last post and last night, Adam and I spent 5 fabulous days in Turks and Caicos.  It was days filled with life's most exhausting decisions...do I sit under the umbrella or a cabana??  Do I get a pina colada or stick with beer?  Should I swim in the ocean or the pool?  Do I wear spf 50 or risk it with 30?  It was rough, but we made it.  Neither of us had ever been anywhere so beautiful, with such lovely people everywhere.  The people who live there might just be the nicest, most laid back people ever.  I guess if I lived in tropical paradise I would be too?  

But actually, the reason we went was to see our dear friends, JP and Michelle, get married on the beach.  We all cried through the whole thing.  

 

The wedding was at this very small villa they rented for the week.  It, also, was lovely.

We had so much fun catching up with old friends.

And it was so good for us to spend time with each other...but we were dying to see Luke by the end.

Little did we know, he was having his own time of relaxation and rejuvenation at the Hui Hotel.  Every morning my dad (and it appears now my Oma) does his "exercises" to start the day (it appears in his pajamas).  Luke was there early enough to partake last week.  Enjoy:
